I think the style of the assassin armor is -basically- fine, I just don't like that they're all body-suits, and covered in blades.
-Edit- When I said "covered in blades" I didn't mean the daggers all over their armor, that's cool, I meant the huge blades sticking out of their shoulders/forearms/shins in most of the armors available.

They look fine to me. You seem to miss the point that they're not ninjas, they're assassins.

i think the asassin armors look to much alike, i say change the +8 armor one to look like a ninja robe, then the the other 2 the same, this will give some variety to the assasin armor also it makes sence the loose flexible robes would give you more energy (while movement) and less protection.

Well you also need to keep in mind a very important issue here. This is a PREVIEW!
Just like all the other classes, I am sure they will get starter armor, they will get collector armor, they will very most likely get 15k and fow armor or what ever that is. They will get more armor... I'm not keen on the assassin helms either... but ever since the "turn off" option to not see head pieces, I don't see em lol.

Yeah, they're assassins, not ninjas..
When I first saw the male assassin with the spiked hair and headband, I thought of Naruto..
I don't see how they look like Shredder..
...
Preview.

Actually, if I was an assassin, I think I'd want sharp things all over my body like that, provided they didn't interfere with my movements or make noise. Why? Because then people pursuing you will thik twice before they try to grab you, meaningy ou aren't going to be taken prisoner and forced to betray the people who hired you. Sharp things where people would grab you = only way to stop you is kill you.

I agree with the assassins not ninjas thing BUT...
Other than the zodiac set (which looks awesome by the way, everything I hoped assassin armor would look like) the assassin armor just looks a bit too...futuristic for guild wars, especially if the next chapter is going to be in a seemingly less advanced continent than Tyria.

I'd say the new continent is going to be way more advanced than Tyria, I don't remember seeing multi story buildings or any shops in Lion's Arch.

/Agree
Assassin armor looks like Sam Fisher green suit from Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow.
Errm, look familiar
oh wait, that's Sam....
this is what I mean
if you remove the blades, you get Snake Solid in Sam Fisher Armor :P

I am sure you don't mean it that way... but they way you put it seems like you meant ancient European culture is far more advance than Asian culture (which is what the Cantha is based on), which is of course not true.
Besides, isn't Cantha suppose to be a "cosmopolitan land of merchants and traders "? .... a country like that couldn't be possibly be less advance than the constantly war shattered land of Ascalon.

I think what he meant was that Cantha has the look of a more "traditional" land with old-style architecture and customs, while the assassin looks like he was beamed down from a UFO.

Well they could always put them in those dresses...
Honestly thought, I don't think they are that bad. The female infltrators is very cool, I would make very few changes to it.

The assassin armor is fine. Plain old ninja pajamas are boring! The only real gripe I have is the oversized blades stuck all over. I mean, bladed armor is all well and good, but these look like the work of a tailor with some serious compensation issues.
Ritualist body armor is neat, but I don't like their hats. Even if you select a long hairstyle, it disappears entirely if you're wearing your cap. And if you turn off hat display, then you don't look very ritualistic anymore. They should've little black blindfolds on the faces, or empty white eyes, or something.

I actually like the hats unlike every other profession they make you a little bit of a mystery. I had fun stuffing around with guildies who were curious as to the features of my rit. as I've been keeping her cap on

You know they have a new Ninja Turtles, right? Not sure if Shedder is in it, though.
I think both classes look fine. The Ritualist is great. I'm not liking the assasin so much, but I haven't played as them very much, either.

I disagree. I for one want them "boring" ninja pajamas. Not everyone likes butt hugger pants.
Assassins CAN be ninjas... they're just basically japanese versions of assassins/spies... Besides, Anet adding that Naruto-style head protector is proof that they at least awknowledged the possibility of assassins having a "ninja" theme. Plus, the Chapter 2 theme is kinda asiatic, so why not have some traditional baggy ninja gear??? Commander Kuro and General Yurukaro have semi-traditional Samurai outfits, yet they're technically "warriors".... why not the assassin class???
